As an CCM supporter, I challenge you to demonstrate to me how Jesus Christ dances to rock music. Grady’s logic? The Contemporary Christian Music movement is much like him in that it preaches the false Christ. Lee Grady, a novelist, takes offense to traditional Christian music, which he refers to as drab and white. So it makes sense that Jesus would like rock music. In addition, Jesus was known for being a bit of a rebel, and rock music has always been the music of rebels. He also had a strong sense of justice, which is another important aspect of many rock songs.
Jesus was a man who preached love and understanding, two qualities that are essential to good rock music.
